Overview

Tyson Brooks is Senior Enterprise Architect with Booz Allen Hamilton in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. Working as a consultant for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), he responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive suite of analytical and technical services designed to enable government and commercial business leaders to achieve improved mission performance through enterprise architecture. He models and documents business/system processes and activities that drive IT transformation and assesses the gaps between strategic processes and system solutions. His functional expertise includes work in the areas of enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, business process modeling, project management, systems analysis and design, systems engineering and requirements analysis. 
 
Tyson is pursuing a Professional Doctorate in Information Management and a CAS in Information Security Management from the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University. Tyson holds a master’s degree in Information and Telecommunications Systems from Johns Hopkins University, a master’s degree in Business Administration from Thomas More College, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management from Kentucky State University. Tyson also received a Certification in Enterprise Architecture (CEA) from Carnegie Mellon University’s Institute for Software Research International (ISRI) and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
