Paul Stamas

Paul Stamas is Vice President of Information Technology at Mohawk Fine Papers; the largest premium paper manufacturer in North America. Previously he was Director of IT at Sprint PCS; Director of IT at Philips Medical Systems; Global IT Manager at Albany International; Chief of Computer Integrated Manufacturing for the Department of Defense, U.S. Army, and started his career as a Systems Engineer at General Motors.

Paul received a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo; a BA in Applied Statistics from the State University of New York at Buffalo; an Executive MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI); an Executive MS in Information Management from Syracuse University (iSchool); and is pursuing a Professional Doctorate in Information Management from the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University.

Paul’s research interests at the convergence of service-oriented architecture and cloud computing to adoption in manufacturing firms to effectively operate in service-value networks.
