Overview

James Powell ’08, G’11 is instructional technology analyst for the iSchool. He is responsible for the delivery of quality lab experiences within the iSchool environment. This includes consulting with faculty members on lab creation, support, and delivery. He also manages the 15 student staff members who monitor and maintain existing labs.

He is also responsible for evaluating and designing future technology labs, improving lab scheduling, and finding innovative ways to support the technology needs of iSchool faculty, staff, and students.

Powell is expected to graduate in December 2010 with an M.S. in Information Management and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Information Security Management, and in the spring 2011 with an M.S. in Telecommunications and Network Management and a Certificates of Advanced Study in Information Systems and Telecommunications Management. He also earned a B.S. in Information Management and Technology at the iSchool in 2008.
