Overview
Jose manages graduate student advising, counseling, financial aid requests, and graduate student records for campus and distance students. He also reviews and provides input on all graduate petitions and program of study forms, processes curriculum and course changes, and certifies students for graduation.
Jose received a B.A. in Spanish from Florida International University and an M.A. in Instructional Systems from Florida State University. Prior to coming to the School of Information Studies, Jose was the Director of Testing Services at the Medical Center Campus of Miami Dade College and an Academic Advisor at M.D.C.'s North Campus.
