Jeffrey Rubin is an Associate Professor of Practice at Syracuse University's iSchool. In addition, Jeffrey is CEO of SIDEARM Sports, a company he foudned in 1996. Jeffrey Rubin is passionate about teaching both in the classroom and in corporate boardroom.
Jeffrey Rubin & SIDEARM SPORTS have spent years providing clients with innovative technological solutions for their web needs. Since its founding, SIDEARM SPORTS has pioneered technology advances in collegiate athletics. SIDEARM (Sports Information Distribution Engine with Archives and Records Management) is a collegiate athletic web-based content management solution that includes everything from press release and roster management, social media integration, dynamic scoreboards, sponsorship recognition, interactive polls, SIDEARM STATS (live in-game statistics), streaming audio and video, newsletters, recruiting components, and so much more.SIDEARM SPORTS has a client list that includes over 550 athletic clients from around the country including Cornell University, Davidson College, Drexel University, Eastern Michigan University, Eastern Illinois University, the University of Hawai’i, Queens University (Ont.), University of Nebraska at Omaha, New York University, Syracuse University and many other NCAA DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, NJCAA and collegiate conferences.

Jeffrey Rubin currently teaches over 200 students a semester in IST195 a course that is popular accross the Syracuse University campus. IST195 gives students a genearl overview of the information age and many different career paths students may pursue. Jeff also teaches a course within the Global Enterprise Technology curriiculum. Lastly, Jeff helps shape the web design curriculum at the iSchool, where he has taught numerious coursees over the yeras.
